ELMIRA- The Chemung County Health Department is seeking your assistance in locating a cat that recently bit someone.  The cat is medium sized with black fur.  The cat is young, slightly smaller than a full grown adult.  It was last seen on College Ave. near Kingsbury Ave. in Elmira on the morning of Tuesday, July 17, 2012.

If you have seen this animal, please call 735-8600 for Elmira Animal Control as soon as possible.  If the animal is healthy, rabies treatment for the victim can be avoided.
