ERIN – The Chemung County Building and Grounds Department announced today that due to a power outage at Park Station the park is now under a boil water advisory.  The park will remain fully open for camping and recreation at the waterfront.  The showers and restrooms are also open.

Due to the potential for water contamination as a result of the power outage it will be necessary for individuals to provide their own drinking water until further notice. A minimum of two days of clean water samples is necessary before the Health Department will lift the boil water advisory.
