“INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY TO ENHANCE THE PASSENGER EXPERIENCE ARRIVES AT THE ELMIRA CORNING REGIONAL AIRPORT”

BIG FLATS- Chemung County Executive Tom Santulli and Elmira Corning Regional Airport (ELM) Manager Ann Crook are proud to announce the start of ProDIGIQ’s Airport TV Network and Passenger Information Network (PIN) which went live today, April 20, 2010.  ProDIGIQ’s technology displays relevant TV programming and real-time flight information to passengers using ELM.  ELM is the first airport in the state of New York to have this state-of-the-art technology.

Passengers can now watch ProDIGIQ’s Airport TV Network in two locations at the departure gates while waiting to board their flights.  The TV Network will feature destination specific attractions, events, and weather, in addition to real-time flight information, breaking news, business and sports news.  The TV Network provides an opportunity for businesses to advertise to passengers that are seated and watching the TVs while waiting at the departure gates.

The PIN system will show real-time flight information of arriving and departing flights at ELM.  ProDIGIQ’s system is fully automated, ensuring accurate flight status through live feeds from multiple data sources.  Three monitors will display the PIN system which are  located in the main lobby, airline check-in counters, and the DC-2 Restaurant.

The selection of ProDIGIQ’s cutting edge technology shows ELM’s commitment to enhancing the passenger experience and takes the airport to the next level of customer service.  According to Ann Crook, airport manager, “The addition of the ProDIGIQ TV systems will be the next step in our ongoing efforts to better serve our community.”
