The project will consist of replacing the existing structures with a new precast box structure.  While this work is taking place, all traffic will be detoured using state Route 34, Main St. (CR 62), Wyncoop Creek Rd. (CR 3), Decker Rd. (CR 24), and state Route 223. The duration of the detour is expected to last approximately two months.

The construction contractor for this project is R. DeVincentis Construction of Binghamton, NY.

Motorists may encounter flaggers, lane closures and could experience travel delays.  It is imperative that motorists remember this season to drive carefully through the many highway and bridge construction zones they will encounter.

Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.  In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
