When Will I Find Out How I Did On a Civil Service Test?
Examination results are received from the New York State Department of Civil Service approximately eight (8) to twelve (12) weeks after an examination. The Regional Civil Service Commission then certifies exam results at their regular monthly meetings.  You will be notified by mail of your score and of your rank on the eligible list after the Regional Commission has certified the results.  The average time frame for candidate notification is twelve (12) to twenty (20) weeks from the date of examination.
